6 Students of Kota based coaching institutes won the medal (5 Gold and 1 Silver) in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO-2015) held in South Korea. IJSO is an exam which aims to promote interest in science among school students, exposing them to problem solving and critical thinking experimentation. This year 41 countries participated in IJSO – 2015. The 1st round of IJSO is conducted by Indian Association of Physics Teacher (IAPHO and in this round 300 students from different states are selected for the 2nd round. From here 30 gets shortlisted for the 3rd round through an examination. The 3rd round is organized in the Homi Baba Centre for Science Education, Mumbai after 20 days practical and theory training 6 student’s team is shortlisted for representing India in IJSO finals
Out of 6 students selected from all over the nation for the final round 3 are from the ALLEN Career Institute and 3 from Resonance. By showcasing the talent in natural science at International platform, ALLEN Career Institute’s classroom student Lakshya Sharma and Bhaskar Gupta won Gold Medal and Vidushi Varshney won Silver Medal, whereas Yash Gupta, Lay Jain, and Pawan Goyal from Resonance Eduventures won the gold medal. India stood Second overall at the IJSO (Junior Science Olympiad) which concluded on 10th December 2015 in South Korea. Indian students bagged 5 Gold and 1 Silver medal. Taiwan students bagged all 6 Golds and stood First. A very proud day for India, A vary PROUD day for Kota.
